Organic potash: the secret to a generous harvest and thriving plants

CP Jardin organic potash is a 100% plant-based base fertilizer, naturally rich in potassium (K₂O), a key element that’s often underestimated. Yet potassium plays a fundamental role in fruit formation, flowering, and plant resilience.

Unlike nitrogen, which boosts growth, potassium works behind the scenes: it strengthens cells, improves sap circulation, and helps plants better withstand water stress, diseases, or frost. In short, it’s the essential ally for plants in top shape… and tasty harvests!

Thanks to its gradual release, organic potash gently feeds the soil without burning roots, while stimulating the micro-organisms that make nutrients absorbable. A true natural boost for your soil.

When and why use organic potash?

✔ Ideal for all flowering plants, fruit trees, and fruiting vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, melons…)

✔ Promotes abundant flowering and sweeter, more colorful fruit

✔ Strengthens plants’ natural defenses

✔ Improves harvest storage

✔ Long-lasting action without leaching, respectful of soil life

Gardener’s tip 🌱

Many gardeners think about nitrogen to make things grow… but forget that without potassium, no beautiful tomatoes or dazzling roses! Consider using potash in autumn to strengthen plants before winter, or in early spring to support flowering and fruiting.

How to use it?

1 handful = 30 to 40 g

Vegetable garden: 60 g / m² to spread when preparing the soil (before sowing or planting).

Ornamental garden: 50 g / m² to spread on the surface, then lightly scratch the soil or water to help the fertilizer penetrate.

Planting trees and shrubs (bare-root, root balls, or container-grown): mix 150 g into the backfill soil of the planting hole (adjust according to the size of the plant).

Annual maintenance: spread 50 to 80 g / m² around trees or shrubs, preferably in damp weather or after watering to activate diffusion.
