Your roses are thus nourished sustainably, the soil is improved, and the leaves are green and shiny. This Solabiol fertilizer for roses is enriched with a growth stimulator. This fertilizer can be used for the following crops: roses and flowering shrubs, citrus trees, strawberry plants, olive trees, fruit trees, and Mediterranean plants.
How to use this organic fertilizer for Roses?
At planting:
- Plant preferably in autumn
- Mix the fertilizer well into the planting soil.
Roses or shrubs in root ball and container:
- Soak the container in water until fully saturated.
- Unpot, and place the root ball while still damp
Roses or shrubs with bare roots:
- Heel them in. Heeling in consists of coating the roots with a sticky slurry, made from a mixture of water, soil enriched with fertilizer and plant-based compost.
- Once the shrub is in place, refill the hole then water.
For maintenance:
- Spread a handful of fertilizer around each rose or shrub outside periods of frost.
- Lightly hoe the top 10 to 15 cm of soil. Roses and most flowering shrubs like fairly heavy, sunny soils.
- Water at the base, especially during the flowering period. Mulch them.
