The Halyosan pheromone trap is specially designed to capture the brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys).

• Pheromone only with original basket (to plan ahead, keeps in the freezer) - duration: 60 days
• Pheromone only generic (without basket, place directly inside) - duration 10-12 weeks

Instructions for use

Preparation

Fit the panels together

Application

• Place the conical tube on the panels
• Place the pheromone capsule in the tube
• Place the obstruction ring above the conical tube to prevent adults from escaping the trap

Dosage

Place the basket on the obstruction ring.

When to install

Place the traps at the edge of crops, at a height of 1 to 2 meters.

Combined use

For intensive detection, place several traps at a minimum distance of 20 m from each other

Notes

Never place the traps in the crops, as this may increase damage in the immediate vicinity of the traps. Never place the traps near homes (minimum 30 m) to prevent the stink bugs from concentrating near the home.

Protected crops: Apple, pear, kiwi, peach, cherry, and outdoor tomato and pepper crops.

What to do in case of a catch?

To easily eliminate brown marmorated stink bugs from your trap, empty the trapped insects into an airtight freezer bag, and place them in the freezer for 24 hours. You can then throw them in the trash.

There is no sufficiently effective insecticide for this pest; only the trap and the pheromone can greatly reduce populations.
