Directions for Use

• Bottle Preparation: Remove the bottle’s safety ring.

• Bait Installation (diammonium phosphate): Pierce the upper part of the bottle several times to create additional access points for the flies.

• Trap Placement: Fill the bottle with the bait: 20 g of diammonium phosphate + 500 ml of water

• Clip the Red Killa Trap® tip onto the top of the bottle.
• Position the trap in the trees by hanging it with a cord through the upper eyelet. Preferably facing South/South-West, in the shade and at shoulder height.
• Replace the solution every 15 days or when the trap is saturated.

The traps must be installed 1 month before the fruit ripens (early April) and remain in place until October. Coating the bottle with aerosol glue helps increase the number of catches.

• Detection: 1 to 2 traps per 1000 m2
• Trapping: 1 to 2 traps per tree every 5 m
