How to use Ferramol 500g natural slug killer?

Effectiveness and control. Ferramol Slug Killer attracts all slugs. After ingesting Ferramol Slug Killer, slugs stop feeding: the product has an appetite-suppressing effect. Then, the slugs retreat to their shelter and die there, which also helps limit slug slime trails. Effectiveness is shown by the reduction of damage in your vegetable garden. Also effective against garden snails. Pre-harvest interval: 5 days.

Directions for use:

• Do not exceed 5 g/m² (i.e., about 1 well-heaped teaspoon).
• Spread Ferramol Slug Killer pellets evenly between crops in the early evening, when slugs leave their shelter
• Ferramol Slug Killer pellets must be spread with a broad sweeping motion over the entire area to be protected as soon as the first damage appears.

Do not make small piles or surround a single plant with the pellets. If the next day all or part of the pellets have been eaten, you must spread more; this way you also eliminate new slugs.

If the soil is very dry, it is recommended to lightly water the soil, which makes the pellets more appealing to slugs. If the soil structure is too coarse, we recommend smoothing it to prevent the pellets from falling into cracks and becoming inaccessible to slugs.
